Let the games beginn...
This year's festival themed "Undefined Arts" deals with rebuilding the world in a redefined, new and very inspiring way. Thomas Zierhofer-Kin, director and connector leads the visitors through a variety of possibilities of a rebuilt world and offers different point of views. I suggest to take a glance at the program and join in for some awesome and extraordinary shows. My 3 recommendations for the first weekend, starting Friday, April 24 :)
Friday, April 24: Ben Frost A U R O R A W / MFO
Born in Australia, living in Iceland, Ben Frost presents his new album "A U R O R A" together with visual artist Marcel Weber at donaufestival. His former albums, including Steel Wound (2003), Theory of Machines (2007) and BY THE THROAT (2009) combine minimalistic sounds with intensely structured sound art and electronic music, focused on fierce and melody. Collaborating with other artists and musicians, like Brian Eno since 2010 (Rolex Mentor and Protegé program) reveals new albums, new directions and new sounds. Experience Ben Frost at Stadtsaal, 11.30 p.m.

Experience Claudia Bosse and theatercombinat at Atelier Kunstmeile Krems, 7 p.m.
